Schools: 700 schools with 3-7 rooms built on land donated by the community, each school has a play ground;
Teachers: 2100 teachers, mostly women with Higher secondary certificate (HSC , 12 years) and all fully trained;
 Supervisory Staff: 270 working at different levels mostly trained to build teacher capacity over a period of 5-10 years;
Trainers: Over professional trainers, some of them trained in Britain;
Training capacity: 3 Regional Training Centres each with a cluster of 6- 10 Training Schools;
Model Schools: 27 Model Schools housed in modern premises with large playing ground in District and Upazila centres
Monitoring: GSS developed critical tools for monitoring individual learner performance decentralised at the Cluster level. |
