For about $25.00 per child per year, GSS was able to teach 150,000 children to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic to an extraordinary degree and without any electronic technology.
Reading: Over 86% of the children can read fluently with comprehension and have developed a serious interest in books. 
Writing: 93% are able to express themselves in writing. Children do creative writing in innovate ways that, as decades of research in the U.S. Europe and elsewhere proves, develop critical reasoning and other higher intellectual processes.
Mathematics: Equally advanced mathematics covers the number system and place value, problem solving and geometric shapes through mass, capacity, and time with 87% able to tackle mathematical problems in real life situation. The comparative figure for reading and mathematics in the mainstream schools is 20.4% .
Science: Science is introduced mostly out of doors using real life objects. |
