You can sponsor schools or individual children's education in any of our Anandaniketon Primary Schools in any of the following areas. A list of the Upazila and Unions is available on request.
You can help a child attend GSS school and achieve the key competencies for $25 dollars a year.
Your contribution will help a child achieve the following:
- Ability to read fluently with comprehension and read for pleasure;
- Express her/himself and communicate in writing;
- Solve real life problems involving the number system and shapes, sizes measures and present data;
- Understand the environment, human and animal life, life cycle, matter and their characteristics; and the community.
- Graduate to secondary School.
By Sponsoring a child or a school -
- You protect a family and create opportunity for each member and collectively the family to stand on its own feet;
- You protect a community.
Your help will help the disadvantaged children build a better and stronger Bangladesh which might influence the rest of South Asia.
- You can do YOUR share to rid Bangladesh of poverty, corruption and social polarization and contribute to a stronger civil society;
- You can play a part in building democracy where all the children are empowered to participate in decision making and demand accountability of the state, the market and the political parties.
