If you are over 21 and a graduate and is willing to rough it, you can take time off and work as a Volunteer for GSS.

It would be very useful if you specified the time when you thought you might be available and the expected duration of your stay in Bangladesh and your area of specialization.

At this stage of reconstruction, GSS is unable to provide airfare support. Nor would GSS be able to cover Health Insurance or accommodation in the capital city of Dhaka. However, it might be possible to arrange accommodation as a 'house guest' for under $10 per day including one meal. GSS will provide a modest mid-day lunch and tea/coffee and snacks.

As regards travel within the country, GSS will cover the cost of travel, food and accommodation in the field
